Unclip the TagPro plate first. Spot clean the cap with a soft brush or cloth using cold water and a mild detergent, working gently along the weave. For a deeper clean, hand wash in cold water and reshape the crown while it's still damp. Avoid bleach, harsh solvents, and hot machine cycles — heat is what warps a structured crown.
Gently remove the magnetic TagPro / front plate before washing to protect the plate.
Rinse the cap thoroughly with lukewarm water to remove dust, sweat, and surface dirt.
Use a soft microfiber cloth with a small amount of mild soap to gently clean the cap.
Use the damp microfiber cloth to gently wipe the crown, brim, and inner sweatband.
Rinse away any soap residue, then reshape the cap while it is still damp.
Let the cap air dry naturally. Reattach the magnetic TagPro plate only after the cap is fully dry.
Always air dry in a shaded, well-ventilated spot, resting the cap on its crown so it holds its shape. Never use a tumble dryer, a radiator, or a car dashboard — direct heat and strong sun fade the fabric and distort the brim.
Store it on a shelf, hook, or cap rack rather than crushed in a bag. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight. If you're travelling, stuff the crown lightly with tissue or a soft item to keep its structure.
Remove the plate before washing the cap. Wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth. The anodized aluminum surface resists corrosion and scratching by design, but avoid submerging it or using abrasive cleaners, which can dull the matte finish.
